Palate: Rich, powerful and dense flavors, medium mouthfeel, honey roasted cashew sweetness immediately follow by influence from the 36% rye. Dark cherries and caramel, some nougat fold together on the mid-palate. Old oak, molasses and lingering herbaceous, herbal rye spice, with a touch of black pepper, bring us to the finish.
Finish is long and rich with classic MGP notes found in the best double digit age stated Indiana Bourbons. High rye herbal notes persist through finish. Sweet and beautifully rounded, to please bourbon drinkers and rye drinkers, alike.
